So well, this EP contains four subjects, which in the total reach the twenty minutes, which show us Boris equals to themselves, in other words, chameleonic from the stylistic point of view, when rock is showing a rib up here more and for the construction of songs where the voice of Astbury is imposed in his style and very own insignia, without compromising in anything.
The version of "Rain" here present, comes with the mark of the band from Tokyo, but without creating anything exciting or innovator, since it is not their apanage. It obeys to the structure of the original, in the generality, there are some more solos, which seem taken of a context of space-rock, and one is for this.
In fact, “BXI " demonstrates again two parts to go and meet one of other one, without great illusions as anyone may think. It is certain that the expectations will be high, for the fans of Boris and of Astbury/The Cult, and certainly they will not go out embezzled, but it is noticed that something more is lacking around there in way what the final result digs of another dimension.
To make this release even more "curious", register that the artwork is of the authorship of Stephen O'Malley, one of the conductors of the Sunn O))). (12/20)
