A few months ago, when we focus on the single “Lady of Shalott”, we mention that this same work was an entrée for the long-term which was in preparation.
Then it was exposed to the world a theme with the same title, a pasteboard for this "Deliverance Of The Mirror”, in fact, right now, we can not say whether or not it was the best pasteboard, because the six themes that make up this album are as homogeneous, as dark, dense, mournful and distressing, than any of them would be a good choice. It is clear that whoever has contact with "Lady ..." possibly jump over him to hear this music. But at the same level we find "Neophyte" or "The Lost King of The Lyre. "Os vultos” are a composition quite creepy, in a candid blackness that will not leave anyone indifferent. With a start that reeks of the ocean, longing, to Portugal, at bottom evolves, introducing something epic contours, with guitar solos well-drawn, in different registers, and which together demonstrate that the quality here can find scattered throughout 51 minutes. The recitation, also found in "Os vultos", displays words that dance on the guitar notes, a text in a tragic, beautiful and sore. Ten minutes felt a slow, disarming, that go flying (the antithesis makes sense!).
"The Mirror Of Deliverance" ends up not as a surprise in its entirety, except for those who only now have contact with this project, the quality of the subjects was known, and here is spread everywhere, whether in roughest moments and in other more quiet and contemplative. This work will live on in their uniformity, and certainly grow as the hearings are increasing because there are always a few details to find out through meshes slow, excruciating and rhythms that sometimes almost graze the funereal.
We can only wait until they have running on stage to demonstrate their power. Well worth! (15/20)
