Wretched - Dark Ambience EP (2009)

Os Wretched já não existem como banda. A sua dissolução ocorreu após o falecimento do vocalista Jon Blank, vítima de overdose, em Maio último. Assim, este "Dark Ambience" é uma obra póstuma que testemunha as últimas gravações de Blank, após a reunião da banda em 2003.

Nos 3 temas aqui presentes, continuamos a ter um heavy/doom metal, onde se notam bem as influências de St. Vitus, Obssessed e Trouble, por exemplo.

Antes da primeira separação, em 1996, lançaram 3 álbuns através da Hellhound Records e, já aí, o seu som assemelhava-se ao que nos apresentam hoje.

Para quem já conhecia este quarteto, não haverá grandes novidades; para quem estabelecer o seu primeiro contacto, até poderá ter uma agradável surpresa. (13/20)

The Wretched no longer exist as a band. Its dissolution came after the death of lead singer Jon Blank, victim of a drug overdose last May. Thus, this "Dark Ambience" is a posthumous work that testifies to the latest recordings Blank, after meeting the band in 2003.
In these three songs included in this EP, we still have a heavy/doom metal band, in good form, and note where the influences of St. Vitus, Trouble and The Obssessed, for example, are very present.
Before the first separation in 1996, they released three albums by Hellhound Records and since then, their sound akin to what we have today.
